Our Story
Gledswood is a heritage-listed former vineyard, colonial farm and homestead. The original building on the property was the convict lock up, built in 1810. The homestead was built from 1827 to 1855 by James Chisholm.
The property was originally known as Buckingham, & added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 22 December 2006.

Gledswood History Lunch
During the history lunch at Gledswood, you will hear stories about Gledswood and its place in the wine and wool industries of NSW. Many of the buildings standing today were built by convicts in the 1800's.

Wine paired lunch
Gledswood boasts a fabulous wine list with boutique Australian wines, exclusive to our venue, & made to delight your senses. Our wine paired lunches offer a 3 course menu with each course paired with one of our wines.

- 3 course menu, alternate serve
- 3 x 80ml p0ur of wine per course
- Wine tasting notes & discussion with our resident Sommelier

Gledswood High Tea
Indulge in a fancy high tea with beautiful bone china, rich linen and premium teas from Mrs Oldbuck’s Pantry. Our highly talented chefs will design a delightful high tea menu that you’ll talk about for years to come! Gledswood Christmas Celebration
Gledswood Christmas Celebrations are available in July & December ~ celebrate the Festive season in summer or winter!
Package includes:
- A traditional Christmas roast with all the trimmings

- Festive tunes to set the tone of the day

Our Events Team is looking forward to welcoming you to Gledswood. All of our packages are available from Tuesday to Friday.
Important Information:
- Bookings are essential and can be made via email or phone
- Groups of 50 people or more will have private function
- Groups of less than 50 people may be in a shared function room
- Arrival time for Gledswood History Lunch is 10.00am for morning tea
- Arrival time for all other packages is usually 11:45am for 12:00pm start
- Food service commences at approximately 12.30pm
- Full bar services are available during lunch
- A deposit of $300 is required to confirm the booking, with balance payable one week prior to event date
- Final guest numbers and dietary requirements must be notified one week prior to event date
- Any bookings of 60 or more people will include live music. (This can occur when two or more smaller groups book on the one day and share the same function room)
- For small groups, live music can be added at an additional cost.
